Saudi Premium Residency (iqama without sponsor) has two headline paths: SAR 800,000 one-time fee (unlimited) or SAR 100,000/year (renewable).
The 2024 property-investor track added a real-estate-backed route: qualifying freehold investment of SAR 4m+ in a REGA-licensed property, inside a designated investment zone.
Benefits are material: live and work without a kafeel, run a business without a Saudi partner for defined activities, own freehold property, sponsor family.
Not a tax trick. Saudi Arabia has no personal income tax for individuals regardless of residency. Premium Residency is about operational freedom, not tax arbitrage.
